Lakeview Car Care of Ronkonkoma

First off, let me begin by saying Lakeview Car Care in Ronkonkoma has not paid or provided us any incentive or compensation for this article.  This review, is of  my own personal experiences going there.

As a matter of fact, they are not even aware  I am writing this article! Nor do they even know who I am.  But I think, it is only fair to point out to my local community. That there is a place where you can feel comfortable taking your vehicle to get worked on, and not get screwed at the same time.  Lakeview Car Care is something worth knowing about.  And as we all know, nobody takes the time to write anything positive or good about someone or someplace on the web.  And that’s what I want to do.  Write about a positive experience about 5 separate occasions, and 3 different vehicles.  The owner as well as the staff, are all extremely courteous and knowledgeable.  And that helps take the stress out of auto repairs.

• The service’s ranged from a basic oil change, but if your like me.  Nothing is basic!  You want it to be perfect and not dripping when you pull out of the parking lot like at a quick change lube center ( you know who i mean)and your car smells like oil burning for two days.  And when you leave your car for the first time there are drips of oil the guy or girl spilled while doing the oil change.  You want the job done right and with quality products.  So your car or truck is just ready to enjoy and drive, and you don’t have to worry about leaving oil spots on your driveway.

• Radiator replacement and coolant system leak.  I saw the dripping, so I made a call to Lakeview.  Fred was real sympathetic and showed me some real empathy for my situation and concern of me driving the vehicle, and offered a 24 hour tow number if I needed.  With the drop off service it worked out great.  I was quoted a price, and can you believe it.  The truck was finished on time and at budget.  How do you beat that, and FYI the coolant system is a year old now and still works better that ever.

• New York State Inspections, we all have to get them done.  But you don’t need to be concerned your gonna get slammed for unneeded parts for the car to pass.

• An exhaust system leak,repair, and diagnosis after the poorly plowed roads of Lake Grove and Ronkonkoma from the last blizzard Nemo.  The roads took a toll on some older parts due to the bumping and shaking around of driving during that week.  If your local to Long Island and this area, you know what I mean. The shaking has hurt many of especially with alignments.

• A flat tire repair, that was done quickly and correctly.

We all know finding a great mechanic, unless you or a family member already is a mechanic.  Is not an easy task to do, and it is kinda like finding a good barber.  Once you find one, your probably going to keep going there until either your bald or your no longer driving.  If you get my point.  However,  you will eventually need to get work done on your car,truck, or emergency vehicle.  Even if it just an oil change or state inspection,  we all need a place to get the work done.

During my daily driving I happen to pay attention to my surroundings, and I’m always on the look out ready to try any local place of business.  This of course ranges from absolutely anything I drive by or hear about.  I’ll try any place once, and if its good ill go back and write about it.  Let me know about your experiences here or at any other local shop.
