Riverhead Pumpkin Robbers
Riverhead Town police are searching for the pumpkin robbers who stole more than 600 pumpkins from an East End farm earlier in the week.
The pumpkins stolen, approximately worth a total of $4,200 – $4,500 went missing from Rottkamp’s Fox Hollow Farm in Calverton sometime before Monday afternoon, police said.
Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call the Riverhead police department, 631-727-4500.
The Rottkamp family has owned the 250-acre farm at 2287 Sound Ave. since 1967.
