Siri’s Birthday Is Today 10/04/2011

So if you are wondering when Siri’s birthday is, it is October 4th 2011. So every October 4th she celebrates it the best way a cell phone can. By you remembering and to celebrate her and remember to tell her “Happy Birthday”.

Here is a screen shot from today when I said “Happy Birthday Siri.” And not to be confused with Susan Bennett the woman who recorded the voice 6 years before its release in the iPhone 4 iOS operating system.

Susan Bennett says she first realized her voice was being used on Apple’s smartphones when a friend emailed her and asked if it was her voice on the iPhone commercial. She apparently provided the voice for the system with some samples she recorded in July of 2005 for Apple. You can read more about that but visiting 9to5mac by clicking this link for Susan Bennett.

We would also like to give our sympathy and respect to the family and friends of Steve Jobs who had past away the following day October 5,2011. As many people will, please take a moment to appreciate the many ways Steve made our world better.
