On my trip to Maryland I went down to the Harbor Place Mall and Fudgery.
As I was walking through the mall I saw the Fudgery located inside the Harbor Place Mall. So I walked over and was greeted by a confectioner and master chocolatier. He offered me a sample of this chocolate gold and was hooked. Now I have never been here before and I was just excited to get some freshly made fudge which I was watching a very talented confectionery chef making and folding on a marble slab not more than 10 feet away from me with shiny cooper kettles in the background.
Who has not come across a deck of cards? Even if you are not a card game player, it is very likely you would have seen at least one deck in your lifetime. Cards have been part of our lives; as children we used to play games like memory, donkey plus among other inventive and amusing games. In the same year the cartoon bird made its return to the Baltimore Orioles’ hats, the Orioles returned to the playoffs for the first time in 15 years. It’s probably mere coincidence, but, through my keen powers of observation, I’ve noticed that the Orioles aren’t the only team that’s changed had a sudden change of fortune on the field in the same season they’ve made a logo change in recent years. A logo change, obviously, isn’t a sure-fire road to success for everybody, just ask the Blue Jays and Marlins, the two teams that went through a complete makeover this year, only to end up in last place. But for the most part, a logo change has been that thing to bring a team that’s on the verge of being good over the top.
