Vegan Barbecue in Cornelius Called Barvecue

That’s right there is a Vegan Barbecue place in Cornelius called Barvecue.  And yes its delicious.  There was just a soft opening in preparation for the upcoming grand opening this week.  They have a chef on staff who has prepared this delicious vegan friendly food, that is smoked on premises.

That’s right – Barvecue™ is 100% plant based.

Barvecue™ is crafted in small batches using Non-GMO soybean protein; wheat and vegetarian seasonings. It is then basted with tantalizing Barvecue™ sauce and smoked “low and slow” over a select mix of pecan & apple wood, creating a scrumptious, chewy delicacy. Add a little extra sauce, coleslaw, and a toasted bun for a plant-based delight like you’ve never had before.

The first item we tried was a Pulled BVQ sandwich with homemade BBQ Sauce and coleslaw.  This paired up very well with a wheat bun.  And with a beer or other beverage of your choice.  Because it is smoked on site, the aroma and flavor profile will have you forget what your eating after the second bite.

The favorite among the crowd seems to have been the Vegan Burnt Ends.  Which are marinated and smoked and still vegan.  Barbecue or “Barvecue” burnt ends that are vegan.  That’s right again.  From this new vegan barbecue joint in the Cornelius, Huntersville, Charlotte, Mooresville area in North Carolina.  You will find this new hidden gem of quick vegan friendly meal option.
